Mission
Volunteers working together with state and council representatives for the benefit of Coochiemudlo Island, its residents, the environment and surrounds.
Objectives
- To participate in community needs identification
- To improve the quality of community life and
- To facilitate community development
- To promote civic pride
- To protect the natural beauty of the island
- To represent the residents of the island and to liaise on their behalf with government and other bodies
- To promote and support local business
- To promote and support local associations, clubs and organisations whose objectives are principally to meet the needs of the community
- To remain a-political, non-religious and non-sectarian

Coochiemudlo Island Progress Association Inc would like to acknowledge the following grants which have been received with thanks:
- Gambling Community Benefit Fund for $2000 - data projector and sound system
- Redland City Council Community Sponsorship Grant $2000 - Flinders' Day & Pirate Markets.
- Redland City Council Community Grant $8,104. This grant was for the Coochie Choir
- Gambling Community Benefit Fund for $35,000.00. This grant was used to purchase the Coochie Bus.
- OSS-21-059 Organisation Support (Sustainability) Grant from Redland City Council for $874.00. This grant was used to purchase a Zeller Machine and Telephone for the Coochie Bus as well as Signage.
